Kellen always looks forward to lessons with Coach Zack. Coach Zack uses high intensity technical drills to teach game scenarios and balances skill with fun to keep the kids moving, learning and engaged. We appreciate the way he connects with each of the kids to find what motivates them and then integrates that into their practice plan, always pushing them to be their best!

Coach Zack is a great instructor and mentor for these young players. My 10u center has learned so much from him. He looks forward to 7am skates with Coach Zack. His improvements on ice during games was obvious following our first lesson.

Coach Zack’s classes are action-packed and focus on drills and exercises that have definitely helped improve not only my son’s skills but also his hockey awareness. My son says he makes learning hockey really fun. Well worth it!

We have a 2009 Defenseman who is always looking for a way to up his play.  Damien enjoys working with Coach Cantrell and says he can definitely see the trainings paying off. Since working on the synthetic ice, Damien has seen an increase in his speed and explosiveness on the ice.  This is true measurable data based on the Helios that he wears on the ice.    Although the space is small, the results are huge!  Thank you Coach Cantrell for putting in the time and effort to help out our young players!

Coach Zack and Hockey Lab Performance have done an outstanding job developing our son’s hockey skills this season. From the first practice, it was clear that his training sessions are purposeful and well-structured. Each drill is designed to build specific skills, and over the course of the season, we’ve seen real improvement in our son's puck handling, speed, and overall game awareness.

Coach Zack has a great eye for detail and provides feedback in a way that’s easy for young players to understand and apply. He challenges the kids to push themselves but also makes sure they understand the why behind what they’re doing—which builds both skill and hockey IQ.

What we appreciate most is his commitment to individual player development. He doesn’t just coach the team—he coaches each player. Our son has grown tremendously this year, and a lot of that is due to the thoughtful and consistent training he's received.

We’re very thankful to have a coach who’s this invested in helping his players improve. It’s been a great season of growth.
